    Off shoulder ache

So I shot two rounds today, about 180 carts. After about 120 level, I my left shoulder starts to ache, when holding the gun up. Gun is correct length obviously, recoil reducer, right handed. I don't have my arm up like a wing. Am I just a wuss or am I missing something?

    Something with...a bit more range . . .

Soooo... What do people suggest for a cartridge, for those extra long range shots, where rules permit (non CPSA)? I'm thinking Black Gold 6's...but if you know of something equally hard hitting, even if it is 28g 6.5's...let me know.

Castellani: Comfort and quality, or extravegant indulgence?

Been looking at a non "gun branded" upgrade to my Beretta shooting vest. I like the Castellani Official London Sporting and the long sleeve compression tops. I have always thought of them as being the bees knees, but recently read some comments about poor quality. Anyone have any comments...

Ed Lyons - Visionary Genius & Pilla 44N Purple

Greetings. Enquired with Ed regarding the Pilla 44N Purple neutralising lens for my Panther Post. He sent me down a lens on a "try before you buy" basis.  I thought this might be a "try before you cry" situation, but actually the price was very good!! Lens has been used in anger and...

What to take to a major shoot?

So, I am intending on entering some of the larger sporting shoots, this year. Other than Skeet, I have never shot in a squad....how does that work? What should I take with me, apart from what I would normally take? Camping chair? Anything else that you guys do? Cheers!

    Understanding Gun Fit video

Guys n Girls. Good little video I just found, that may help new (and not so new!) shooters, understand and diagnose Gun Fit issues, with some great "views" of how a particular issues looks, to the shooter.

    Added weight under Forend

So, I have been wondering for a while, about adding some weight between the barrels of my Beretta Silver Pigeon 1. The balance was butt heavy and about an inch or so back from the hinge pin. Without being entirely sure why and only inspired by watching a Beretta worker, balancing a 692...I...

    A question for Ed Lyons

Mr Lyons; my wife was told during work related eyesight test, that she "can't tell if something is, nearer or further away" and had something that to do with "raised letters" on a chart. The cheeky cow doing the test, asked if she "hit many kerbs". Mrs Skeet, wondered if this could affect her...

Blaser F3 SuperSport and newer F3's...opinions?

Dudes and dudettes. Not interested in reliability issues of older F3's. I am interested in the newer ones and the SuperSport in particular. I saw Nathan Hales with one and I think I would like one, but what do you think?

    A thank you to Hamster

Just wanted to give a big   :fans:   to Hamster. He invited me down to Greenfields in Canterbury, on Sunday.  I was glad about this, as I have seen his scores...he can shoot straight!   We met up and he showed me the ropes, before shooting the 100 bird comp.  Lots of fun.  Sadly, it appears I...

    Which (smaller) 4 X 4?

Evening all. So, I have been toying with the idea of a 4x4 as a second car.  I wonder what people suggest? I don't need a huge vehicle, so not really interested in Range Rovers.  Something smaller, Freelander 2 etc or similar, ideally fairly economical. Quite fancy the idea of a Mitsubishi...
