All have increased guys. Across the board. Remember though that fiocchi is still one price rise behind the rest. They held back on the first increase hence so many switching from Hull to fiocchi. Myself included.

Silly Pricing , I was buying Litespeed Plastic at £215 and F blue at £235 . Now £255 and £269 respectively at my normal supplier . I can save a fiver by going to 24gm on the FBlue . Pretty much makes the Litespeed redundant . Perhaps that’s the intention .
Sadly there’s only one way the cartridge prices are going mateWell their goes the twice a month, down to one until they either come down or I give up
I think We will see another price increase before the year’s out.
Mentally I think this price rise will be the tipping point for a lot of people. We paid just under £200 for years. Then just over but this huge jump on some loads and it's timing is deeply suspicious.
I'm glad I have a big stock but I certainly won't be rattling a slab a day off at practise anymore. Most my friends have binned off practise completely and now just cherry pick competitions.
We were given a raft of excuses about energy cost rises then watched those same energy firms announce vast profits.
Someone with some financial savvy please keep an eye on the cartridge companies and see how their accounts look in 12 months time.

As I mentioned earlier, this is what most will do, simply reduce the amount the shoot or practice. It’s also a fair point regarding shooting comps only on the odd Sunday as someone mentioned this stating they weren’t seeing a decline in the numbers shooting, but the reality is the numbers have possible increased at comps due to less people shooting practice on other days, end result is less days shooting overall and less money for the clubs. Lack of revenue for the clubs is the most concerning element as if they start closing their doors, it won’t matter what the cartridge price is as we won’t have many places to shoot them.

I now consider I'm paying a premium price for a budget cartridge (£250+ a thou). I shoot Gamebore Velocity+ which are now the price of what their premium cartridges were a year ago.
Gamebore have wound me up this last few week with their advertising of another so called premium cartridge 'Onyx'. It's about time they put some development in to building a cartridge cheaper and for the lower end of the market. I could never afford to shoot these top end cartridges when they were £250 a thousand. I'm just about hanging on now. I shoot no practice anymore and will be going to down to one Sport Trap event a month after tomorrow along with the odd visit to my local straw bailer, not for profit club, which is 50 Clays and carts for £18 every 2nd Sunday although this will be going up soon I'm sure.

Just picked up my gun(service) from a local, ground . Which is very nice , Open for practice and lessons, Nice gun room. Nice clubhouse. (think range rover set) And it's absolutely dead. No practice going on. No-one on lessons. In fact no shots fired at all whilst I was there. As a consequence Nobody milling around , chatting, perusing the gunroom . Nothing, nada.
Shame.
They did a lovely job on my sxs. (More on that later) with a speedy turnaround. They are lovely and polite and seem to value the custom. I Don't see how they could make the experience better.
But its still dead. Could hear a pin drop.
A sign of things to come unless something drastically changes.

This doesn’t surprise me mate. So as margins increase for the cartridge manufactures, the profits drop for the clubs as footfall diminishes.
Yes been to my local ground and he had the new Fiocchi price list ,on average it's around £30/35 per 1000. People will cut back that's for sure and it will have an effect on the whole industry. The Cartridge companies will feel the pinch too and I wonder how they will react. On the face of it they will probably just keep increasing prices to compensate for their reduced turnover.
Same here, went to a ground before the this latest price hike and they said then that increases hadn't helped, and they had seen a big drop off with bookings
Yes registered shoots may be busier or already booked well in advance. But it's a long time between these shoots, and the bread and butter side has already decided to cut back, so not looking good for grounds at the moment or anytime soon

April `21-`22 I shot just on 6000 clays ...April `22 up to now I`ve shot 2900.
Cut out most practice and choosy about where I go now. Feel sorry for those who make their living from shooting and foresee a good number of business` folding .

I just don't understand why none of these companies are looking at a Cartridge for the club shooter. Both of these new releases by Gamebore will never go through my gun. Even if I won the lottery I couldn't justify £450 a thousand. There's nothing the Velocities in fibre didn't break at Swinton on Saturday.
A price check with 'Proper Cartridges' is next on my list.

A few years ago I was squaded with one of the top shots at Northampton, he was using the cheapest Rio target cartridges through an old Miroku MK38. Didn’t stop him winning the shoot on 96. I think most modern cartridges will more than do the job it’s sometimes a matter of getting used to them.
Also at my local cartridge dealer on Friday and asked him what his cheapest cartridge was - 28gm Fiocchi TT1 at £220 a thousand. If I had to I would!
