    World Universal Trench Championships

I would appreciate it if no more cages were rattled please peeps :) I am about to go through this thread and do some pruning, so fair warning if one of yours goes. No need for a lot of the comments on here, It detracts from a great international performance.

    Bought a pogo stick

Actually quite a ways back on this one, even with the synth stock (wood version is obviously heavier) It comes with a 2 inch extended half choke that I had in today to make it more like my mk38 and I have 4 or 5 ounces of lead in my mk38 stock!

    Bought a pogo stick

Very easy to strip them, not as hard as they look like. Granted if you do a "deep" clean and have the trigger unit and the breech block out it takes half hour or so but a standard clean for me takes no longer than my O/U. Forend off, barrel out, clean the barrel (only one to do) cotton wool bud...

    Bought a pogo stick

Well took her out for a "bounce" at the pigeons today. I am very impressed :D  I shot about 75-80 shells through it, not a single jam or hint that it was going to malfunction. Taking the barrel off to put it back in the hard case I noticed how clean it was around the gas ports and the piston...

Whats everone stocking up with for this year?

Only comparison I have done is price :) velocity are about 20 quid per thou cheaper :D Was using them in the new pogo stick today, 1/2 choke and took down a couple of lengthy crows very well. TBH for decoying the velocity clay shell (28g 7.5 fibre) is only 170 per thou and plenty good enough :)

    Licence question?

I leave mine at home but do have a copy in the glove box of the van. Mr Plod can do a pnc check easy enough over their radio if they need serial numbers of what I should have. I do take it when I'm going to a shooting ground with a shop or a gunshop, never know when a decent cartridge deal could...

Whats everone stocking up with for this year?

Will still be using Kent (or now Gamebore) HV pigeons, 29g fibre 6's. Plenty of knockdown with 5/8 and 3/4 choke :D

    Decoking chokes

An ultrasonic cleaning machine, a lot of the rifle reloading guys swear by them for cleaning their spent brass ready to reload. Lidl seem to be the shop of choice for them :)

Easiest discipline to attain a top class the quickest

interesting point EHB, a factor that has to be taken into account is the "droppers" ESP you drop 10% and over to get your adjusted average, DTL & Skeet are only 5%. This makes it easier to "drop" scores in DTL & Skeet and keep your averages higher. Also very dependant on where you live...

    Bought a pogo stick

Been pondering another auto for a while for pigeon splatting and needed something proofed for big steel for ducks and geese. I'm also fed up of getting the miroke muddy and covered in blood, the small scratches from leaning it against trees and pushing through hedges with it and its nice to have...

Out of interest, is this just the home teams shooting or is it an open as well? Reason I ask, there is a shooter with an EE CPSA number that is unclassified for skeet and has only shot 1 registered skeet. If they are in a team how were they selected?

I would also say skeet, especially if you come into it with a clean slate and start from nothing.
