made the 2.5 hour trip to Grange farm today,never been there before, and must say what a nice ground it was,large club house,good variety of targets through a mixture of woodland and open fields.juniors under 21 shoot for free,a good way to encourage youngsters into the sport! No trap break...

Did long ridge shooting ground today where they were holding the Hereford and worcester county champs,thought it was a superb shoot,good variety of targets from a rabbit a 20 feet to 50 yard plus loupers,crosser,s, that needed a nice gap, some good targets that made you want to attack and bust...

made the trip down to wylye today,cracking weather and breakie. To be honest not the most inspiring shoot i,ve been to there consisting of lots of dropping targets and loupers,and a few fast targets appearing and disapearing behind bushes in a flash where quick gun movement and spot shooting...

Something i,ve never came across at a reg shoot before happened today,a mate was shooting a stand and had killed the first 5 birds ( on report pair) when the 6th bird never appeared,trap had broken and had to be replaced,the ref had scored 5 kills on his card. Took a while to get another trap...

Thought i'd do a couple of  copy's of my shot gun cert and leave them in the truck,shooting bag etc in case i,m stopped and asked for it and to save  hassle of loosing the original, as i,m always travelling in different vehicles to shoot game ,clays etc,after i'd copied it i noticed the word...
