P's

after over kill on Ferrari and lambo and stuff I don't even know or could pronounce this little baby was a refreshing change. Seems every tom dick and Harry has a Ferrari in South of France. It's cool to be different.

just saying.
Oh, right!  Sign me up!  Who'd want a Ferrari or Lambo like everybody else has.  Retro-slug, that's for me!

You clearly need to have that medication re-evaluated or quit overdosing

Philistine :)

I used to have a 1972 Alfa spider, which I still have major regrets in selling!

Chrome bumpers, walnut steering wheel, the wind in your hair = motoring bliss!

God I miss my little italian sportscar!

Here she is....

Nice

I had a triumph spitfire it was a bag of sh*te don't regret selling it but did regret buying the heap of cack :)

talking to a guy who's had several Ferrari s. Reckons they're ok for the first 6K miles then just fall to bits. So gets rid just before.

2 Cars I still wish I'd held onto were a MK1 ford Escort Mexico and a MK1 Ford XR2.

both now highly collectable.

My first car Was a circa 71 mk one escort bought for hundred quid in 82. Saw one a year ago it was tiny.

I learned to drive (in '95) in a 1976 BMW 3.0 csl; lovely car. Dad said it was mine when I passed my test, but apparently moving to Scotland voided the deal on the basis that it was left hand drive, and he sold it.

95 that makes me feel very old, thanks for that :)

Philistine :)
Beyond your imagining!  It gives me a knotted feeling just thinking of the seeming endless hours enduring leaking tops and side curtains and endless hours dedicated to changing spun rod bearings all because a MGTD was so totally cool that I couldn't live without it.

Actually I discovered that I could and have managed quite well since.

This provides a buffer

There is this 911 which I used to see around Newbury, but I haven't seen it for a while. I like it.

IPS

I guessing it was one of these (356 Speedster with Purdey)

But could have been one of these (a 550 Spyder) :)

Didn't you take a picture man?
