French rules?

I’m over in France and went to buy cartridges today from decathlon. Was told they couldn’t sell them to me because of Brexit?! Did I just get caught with an idiot or has France changed it’s rules as I’ve never had problems before.

Be good if Decathlon sold cartridges over here... they'd be able to sell a ton to conveniently bring the price down!

All you normally need to do is show some form of entitlement to buy eg license and you are good to go. Italy is particularly easy to buy you just go to the shop and buy them no need to show anything at all??

I’m off to shoot this morning. Will be held to ransom at the ground for some or maybe try a different decathlon?
