    Webley and Scott 700

After buying a 1964 Webley and Scott 700 as a bit of a project gun for my son to refinish last year he has finally got round to completing it. The idea was to sell it but it has come out so good I'm not sure I can part with it! It was stripped and the action boiled to remove all the old grease...

    Webley and Scott 700.

Had a moment of madness at Holts auction yesterday and ended up with a Webley and Scott 700 SxS. Bought it as a bit of a project for my son. Last of the English mass produced guns and in great condition with what looks like very little use over the years and even comes with a period Brady...

    shooting holiday destinations europe

Looking to try and get away for a week in June\ July for some clay shooting in the sun. One option is the Algarve which we have done for the last few years... any other suggestions? We normally take our own guns and have heard Spain can be a pain...France looks easier and could drive there. Any...

    Castellani stockists.

I've been trying to find anyone in the Southeast who stock Castellani skeet vests. The UK website is useless and trying to have had zero luck calling or emailing them. I think the UK importer has recently changed so suspect this is half the issue, the other half is the Italian ingredient!

Nervous visit to the Proof House.

Just spent an hour at the London Proof house getting an old Watson Brothers sidelock SxS reproofed. I bought it at auction and it was so near to being out of proof that when checked it was suggested if I had so much at farted down the barrels it would have been out of proof...not something I do...

    Shared guns on SGC

My son who is 15 has just got his SGC. A few people have mentioned that as we have shared storage that we have all guns listed on both SGC. The question is what to put on my sons certificate in column "B", it says options are sold, let on hire, given or lent. His own guns I will list as given...

    decent fibre wad?

Any recomendations for a 28g fibre wad? We normally shoot Express HV as the recoil is low for a 28g, but the fibre version feels a lot more punchy. We only need 50 for a comp so not too bothered about price. Never really found one we like using, seems like fibre and modern barrels were not made...

    Shooting holiday destinations?

I'm looking for some inspiration for a shooting holiday. My son and I went to Portugal last year and had a great time, easy to travel to with the guns, friendly club owner, lovely villa and great weather. Cyprus and Italy spring to mind but open to any suggestions, probably 7-10 days, just my...

    Zoli or Miroku..which stays.

I've ended up with two guns but one must go. I've got a Miroku MK38 Teague Sporter grade 5 which I shoot with OK (I've come to the conclusion GD has nothing to worry about any time soon) and have also ended up with a brand new Zoli Kronos sporter. I've now got to decide which to sell...the Zoli...

Miroku MK60 swapped for CG Invictus.

My son has swapped his Miroku MK60 Gd 5 for a Caesar Gurini Invictus. He recently tried one at an event at The Oxford Gun Company ground and picked it up today. First impressions are good. Comes with everything you need in a decent Negrini case. 8 chokes, choke key, stock bolt removal tool and...

    Young shooters shotgun certificate.

I am thinking of applying for a shotgun cert, for my 14 year old son. He shoots clays with me every week, Now just need to clarify a bit of a grey area, to me at least, with regards him attending a shoot with his mother who is not a cert holder. From the guidelines it looks as if he can be in...
