I've tried them both extensively and not only are FBLU's better looking they also seem to hit a bit harder at distance than the Tops. Both excellent shells for the money. Grab a slab when you pick up your Tops and see for yourself. Then come back and tell me I'm talking bollocks and they're both the same....

You are totally right. I have said many times on here that F-Blu were developed as a serious competition cartridge at a lower price. They sit between Golden and Top1.

Sometimes I wonder if I speak English.

P.s. I have tried them all you know :) :)

You can trust me....I am on the Fiocchi Team Italy.

Thank you that is exactly what i wanted to know Spose you get what you pay for and there only 20 sheets more and still within budget. One more question for you do you find the f as soft as the ones as they seemed very light on the shoulder to me and i liked them a lot.

I came from years of 36 grm elettrocibles so everything is light now. But I would agree that F-Blu are a little lighter on the shoulder than F-Black. I would have F-Blu over Top1 if you can afford it. If you have enough budget then go straight to Golden!!!!

FBlu 24gr in plastic are I think £145/1000 at present, but need to check first

167 from my dealer were are you getting em for 145

Edgehill have just got 11000 in. Supposed to have a minor fault with the batch, but yet to find anything worth worrying about.

I've shot two thousand Fblu's in my Miroku and Beretta and never had any problems with them at all ... fantastic cartridge IMO

Only used 28g, but F-blu are worth the extra over the Top Ones.

uses 1000 of both with no problems.

Top Ones a bit thumpy same as most others at the budget price.

F-blu are much softer, clean AND hard hitting - a very good cartridge.

The latest generation Top 1 in the orange case is in my opinion a better shell than the old blue cased ones but both shoot well enough. The Blu's and Blacks are good while the Official / Golden are lovely....if you want to try something special then try some of the "Shootoff" 24 gram which are a dream shell...just dont ask the price....

I see that on Saredon Shooting Supplies web site Top1 are at £149 and F/Blu £167. both good value cartridges (comparatively!!) Might be usefull if you are anywhere near junc.12 M6.

Folks 'shoot off' are very special shells and not for everyone....they are specialist kit.

Unless you are a very good shot.....it is not worth using shoot off because of the price.....trust me.

The category ladder is Top 1, followed by Official, F-Blu, Golden, and at the top Shoot Off..........if that helps anyone.

I am using F'Blus just now and can't fault them at the price, a little punchy is the term we are giving them up here, we were used to Goldens so thats why we find that.

The top ones are a little softer In my shoulder.

If i wanted a softer shell at a really good price I would go for Clever Mirage Supertarget over Top 1's anyday.

I've been shooting Eley Superbs for a year or so but the price is starting to get a bit steep (£212/1000). Think I'll try the FBlu's next time around as they seem to have good reviews and are a darn sight cheaper.

I did try a slab of Top1's last year but had about 5 or so deformed plastics which wouldn't fit in the chamber which sort of put me off.

Still. chucking 5 out of every 250 away is still cheaper than buying Superbs !!

How do you feel FBlu 28g plas compare to Mirage T2 28g plas? (If you have shot both..)

Very very similar they are both very good and both have the punchy feel to them, I would choose F'Blus though. Or If you have a little more cash the Grand Italias are better.

For anybody looking for more of a "sporting" shell and 28 gram.......... try the F-Black 8.5's or 7.5's! Next step up from the F-Blu's and unless you want to go silly money for the Goldens, you wont get a better shell! I've used all the Fiocchi's (apart from the shoot-off) and given the choice with money not making the deciding factor, give me the F-black every time!

I'm keen to try the blacks but can't find anywhere south of Birmingham that sells them. I'd be happy to be corrected on this! Saredon do them at a very good price but the location is a bit out of range from Royal Berkshire.
