I have been told that Daniele Perazzi passed away during the night.

He will be missed, how sad.

Condolences to his family, and friends.

A sad day indeed, I was over the moon when we saw him at the factory last year (he didnt look too great then being helped along). It made the visit complete.

Likewise I saw the great man at the factory last year. He had a nurse with him so today's news is not a surprise. I will shoot my SHO on Friday with him in my thoughts. RIP Daniele.

Almost certainly the greatest gunmaker of the last 60 years. On one trip we were invited back to his house - the mandatory two dead blackbirds on a bowl in the hall. A modern glassfronted villa on what seemed like a mountain with the top cut off. The back of the lounge looking over the valley was lined with display cabinets containing all his prototypes and finest guns. Quite a place. He would rise at first light to ambush the blackbirds over the passes. I doubt I'll see his like again.

He shook up the shotgun making world without a doubt! It is sad that he is gone.
