I move shells so that certain things sit at the top, depending on the brand I'm shooting. It's not a superstition - part of the process of mentally preparing. Chap I shoot with always adjusts his cap. Same, just part of mentally 'tuning in'

Badly wind affected. Lack of variety - no driven, no overheads, no rabbits - lots of quartering. Expect more difference with 120 birds though I appreciate ground can be challenging. Huge variety in targets through day due to wind. Over 4 hours to shoot 120 birds!?! - lost the will to live...

Hi, Shot the Reg ESP at Nottingham today - 2nd one they've run. Lots of stands, 8's and 6's and more simo than normally seen on the grounds I visit. Good variety of targets, had a chance for a bit of everything with quartering, teal, driven, overhead, rabbit, crossers, loopers... Excellent...

More importantly, was it you taking photos at one of the stands at the world sporting? On the course down the right hand side, half way down? Didn't get a chance to look at the photo I assume got took of me at the event and wondered if they where viewable online?
