Sporting Targets are 33p for members and 40p for non members with 5% discount for no birds and shown targets, which I think is fair.. 

I too thought the menu was for describing the target type, not the method for shooting it. Having said that, there's no excuse for arguing or being abusive to refs, or anyone else for that matter. 

I wouldn't have thought it was Honesberie, as a C class shooter I thought it was about right. I shot my current average, even with some silly mistakes. 

We shot Northampton yesterday and Sporting Targets today, two good layouts and we kept dry!

AG&L today, gave up half way around like quite a few others. Trying to keep a 13 year old enthused wasn't easy... We decided we prefer squaded, so Northampton and Sporting Targets on Sunday and Monday.

Northampton SG are open tomorrow and have some spaces available after 11:00am for their 100 reg sporting... 

Lizzy Yarnold for example, started off as a heptathalete, and was spotted by UK Sport who got her into the skeleton. She spent her time training at the local athletics track, before going home for fish fingers... 

After a personal best at AG&L yesterday, was bought down to earth with a crunch at EJC today... Started on stand 1 badly and continued that way. Young Harry shot really well though, finishing on 73 and was second in C when we left. One bonus is that we didn't feel the cold...

Is the EJC on Saturday a normal 100 Reg? Just arrive and shoot? I couldn't see anything on their website but it's on the CPSA website as a Premier League event. Thanks

Interested in hearing points of view... So if you were using a fixed choke gun for English Sporting, what constrictions would you use (quarter/half, half/half etc...)?  Also the same question for FITASC. Many thanks 

I was shooting at a gun dog trial today, which was a first for me. Really enjoyed it, walked up in the woods. 

I don't believe that one day off in nine years (so far) of school is setting a bad example, especially when it had the schools approval. Yes you can take rules to the letter of the law, but our school appreciate the bigger picture.  Each to their own I suppose... 

I was in a similar situation two weeks ago when my lad had the chance to shoot with me on a driven day. We phoned the school and explained the situation and that his main interest is shooting (not rugby, cricket etc) and he'd been invited on a shoot. The school were absolutly fine with it and...
