Some shoots in my area charge £40 for 100 birds how many stands would you expect or think fair, I am in the west midlands

Normally on a registered it would be 10 stands of 8 targets (ie 2 pairs on report or sim pairs) then 2 stands of 10 targets on report or sim pairs.  If you are just going to a ground to practice do whatever you want, ie, if struggling on 1 target in particular spend more time on that stand and skip others.

For a targets only entry to a CPSA shoot, £40 seems the norm around this way (Herts/Beds/Bucks). 10 stands is the minimum required for a normal CPSA registered shoot. Most put on 12, some 13.

If it's my local non registered shoot, then it's 100 over 10 stands for£30. If I want to shoot more/less then I just pay for what I shot (at).

most practice clays are 40p which makes registered comparatively good value, no complaints from me

Grange farm managed 14 stands this week. 👌

Jasper.
Good for them, five pairs on one stand is boring. Also in out area we can still practise for less then 40 p a clay, Orston is 37p and then 5% allowance for seeing clays and no birds, East of England is 35p a clay and they knock off any no birds.
