Nottingham Sporting Clays is Open!

Just to let you know that our new Sporting Ground is open and ready for practice.

We have 25 bird, 50 bird and 100 bird sporting practice available - £5 for 25 birds for members and £6 for non members.

Nottingham Sporting Clays (next to Nottingham & District Gun Club). Open Wednesday through to Sunday - Open till dusk on weds and thurs, 5pm finish from friday to sunday. Call 01623 883798 for enquiries.

Julesy, Have you made any/many changes to the course that was put on for the 75 bird free day on the 5th June?

Did you get many critiques from those who shot it and what,if any,action has been taken?

A few basic mistakes were made regarding target presentation for the free trial shoot but the organisers made a point of asking for anonymous,written comments on the day which they will,hopefully,act upon.

It has always surprised me how little attention grounds and businesses in general pay to their customers comments.

Hi All,

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond! All the feedback has been acted upon and the whole point of offering a free shoot was to get criticism.

We always want feedback (good and bad), we would rather have the opportunity to fix things than people not come again.

The ground is being registered this week so fixtures will be coming in soon.
