Not unless they have employed a course setter who has a grasp of where the sun is in the sky. Still annoyed from a shoot there last year. Preposterous.

There are a good bunch of us shooting this on Friday @ 10ish - I have a four day festival of shooting next weekend - this is day two of four.

Cannot wait.

little fella and I booked on for 11.20 / 11.30 on the Sunday. never shot it or the ground before, looking forward to something new. :hunter:

Will, it will be cloudy this year so no excuse not to do it... Of course you could buy yourself some dark glasses...  :girlumbrage:

Saw some regulars there last year (at a reg shoot after the JP) who had absolute welding goggles. Obviously an ST necessity. Yeah, I enjoyed (and did well at) their Easter challenge last year, which was cloudy. Too far to go for it to be ruined by amateur errors.. Plenty of sensible events elsewhere..

Will, it is character building, especially now you are in AA, you need to be able to adapt to different environments and still perform!

Just shoot sun affected targets earlier or later, you have the skills so use them

I'm booked in for Wednesday at 11am, but I have polarized lenses from sports vision specialist Ed Lyons so sunlight holds no fear for me. It will be great to have an excuse for missing though, thanks for that.

No excuses. you get a set of glasses just for entering.

The only problem is, I can't use them.
I need my Ed spec'd Oakley Crossfires with super HD prescription these days.
Even if Mrs H says they make me look like a 70s porn star. :)

70's Porn Star is my aspiration. My prescription Oakleys from Mr. Lyons make me look like a child molester according to Ed Solomons.. Perhaps I should add a Magnum PI moustache.

Thanks to IPS and our little trip back to the 70s, discussing the music of our youth. I am now sporting the hair cut of a 70s porn star as well.
Much to the better halves disgust.
I'm just surprised it's still growing at my age:)
