Ok, so here it is!
The long awaited 'pro trap'
Some of the more eagle eyed may well notice that something looks a bit odd... no monte carlo stock, no barrel weights, strange engraving and a funny looking high rib.
The reason for this is a bit holds a bit of a story...
Legend has it that this was the prototype that was developed by Browning before the official pro trap went in to production.
It has a standard trap stock that has been fitted with an adjustable comb, 525 grade 1 engraving adapted to fit on to the 725 action, an early design aluminium adjustable high rib, 32inch invector DS choked barrels and an adjustable trigger.
The only things missing from this is the barrel/stock weights and the monte carlo stock.
On the plus side though, it was about half the price of a new Pro trap!
Picked it up saturday morning and headed down to the local trap layout, and after 6 months of not shooting trap walked on and shot a 23 (21 of those were first barrel kills)
Is it possible to be in love with a gun? .
