As has been mentioned on here by me and others, Italian trap stock combs seem very.... well Fat. I find this on Beretta's, particularly DT10, but also I've got an Essevierre stock that's chunky. I'm not complaining and I think it's better than tucking down onto a pencil but I just wonder about implications on gun mount. Are Perazzi like this? I keep forgetting to look.
I recently thinned down a particularly fat adjustable comb for my DT gun because I felt it was a bit like lining up over a drain pipe, even though I had shot well with it, cast became tricky after I did this. Any thoughts and gun fit advice would be interesting.
