Ended up with the Beretta after all, travelled a bit further away but I was able to compare quite a number of different guns, several different Browning, Guerinis and Berettas but I just kind of fell in love with with this 692, felt 'right' - although there was no option of a trial but hopefully we'll get on fine. Had a lovely bit of timber too.

Very similar looking to mine, get the oil out and start rubbing!!!! mines stripped down at the moment and absorbing like a sponge!

I am beretta through and through I have looked at loads of 692s and have never bought one because of the poor looking wood.but I have to say if I had seen one like yours I would definitely have one in the cabinet.a lovely looking gun have fun with it.
