Recommend a Norfolk Shooting Ground and Lesson?

I have to go to Fakenham (Norfolk) on business in a couple of weeks, visiting Newmarket the next day.

Can anyone suggest somewhere between the two (Lakenheath?) that has a Skeet layout and where I could possibly get a Skeet lesson?

Also a decent hotel would be nice. I’m presently thinking of the Brandon House Hotel.

Any guidance would be welcomed.

The Crown Hotel in Mundford may be worth a look 'dog friendly' and is quite popular from what i hear. Check out the Lakenheath website for more info.

Lakenheath looks pretty well on route between the two, so will probably end up there barring any other suggestions.

I used to visit Mid-Norfolk shooting ground on a fairly regular basis many years ago, they used to have a massive sporting layout and several skeet layouts. Always enjoyed the shooting there but not sure of the current opening times etc. well worth a visit if your in the area though!

Sort of sways the decision somewhat!
