I usually shoot with a pouch but fancy trying a vest after not shooting with one for a few years. Can anyone offer a recommendation for a decent skeet vest that doesn’t feel overly restrictive? Looking for one to go over a fleece for the winter time.
Thanks Tom
So I’ve got the chance of a very clean dt10L for sensible money, the action is still relatively tight and the action and wood work are very tidy. It’s a very considerable saving over a dt11.
what do people think of the guns as a rule?
cheers
Tom
Being an experienced shooter I should know better than to ask but, I’ve been away from shooting properly for a few years and have got into a habit of using whatever is cheap and local for the odd straw bailer I’ve occasionally attended. Im trying to get back to regular registered shooting...
So today is my birthday and I decided I wanted to treat myself, after uming and ahing about either an mk38 Sporter or trap I found this on Guntrader.
Greenfields in Salisbury order them in this configuration from Miroku and I couldn’t be happier, it a mk38 grade5 fixed choke Sporter with solid...
Hi guys, I know these questions have been asked a thousand times over and I hate to be that guy but I’ve been away from sporting clays for a few years now (apart from the odd shoot) due to business and family commitments and I’m looking to get back into the sport. When I stopped shooting I sold...
I have been away from the forum for a while and shooting in general, I started to get a bit disillusioned with the sport and the realisation that it was costing more than a mortgage a month pushed me over the edge. I have been going through a stage of not being able to settle on a gun and have...
Friday afternoon found me at longridge with clynt warren trying out my new Blaser f3 vantage. I was struggling to hit simple targets that should have been balls of soot, so out came the stock tool with the comb moved over to the left and the comb dropped a little, a change of butt pad as the...
So a little while ago I posted on here that I had purchased a krieghoff, It was a lovely looking gun and it's undeniable that they are incredibly well made but I would have been better throwing it at the clays! So it went and made way for another piece of German engineering. I've now had the...
Not a question just venting frustration!
So a few weeks ago I chopped my perazzi in against a k80 (brave or stupid move?), the k80 was a couple of years older than the mx2000s so as expected there were a couple of stock marks and a small mark on the bluing. Being a gun tart I wanted it mint so...
Hi I'm looking to get my barrels reblued on my krieghoff, where is the best place in the south west, also does anyone have any idea of turn around times?
Does anyone own or has any one shot the new invictus ascent? I'm seriously considering chopping in my perazzi and getting one of these and some money back on my gun. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy my perazzi but my standard of shooting doesn't warrant such an expensive gun and being newly...
This is something that is more associated with rifles than shot guns I know, but should the end of the barrels be crowned? Would it make any difference to performance etc? I've never really noticed it on a shotgun or choke before except for mullers.
Ok you will have to excuse my bellyaching but something seems to have gone awry with my shooting and I need to vent my frustration.
Back in October I began to shoot registered shoots, after shooting 300 registered target I received my classification in c class and everything started with a...
Hi I have a perazzi mx2000s the gun is fixed choke at 3/4 and full. Would having the gun teagued detract from the value of the gun and hurt the resale? Not that I'm looking to sell it I just don't want to make an expensive mistake.
Thanks tom
As the title says I'm trying to get hold of some flash clays (the ones with the powder underneath) I know there pretty expensive but it's only for one shoot with a few friends on some private land and I'm trying to liven things up a bit. I may add a few exploding targets as well ;)
Hi just a quick question, Would adding an adjustable comb to a gun such as a Kemen reduce the guns value and/or ease of sale?
I've just bought the hard wear to do the job but before I take the stock to the bandsaw I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
