Well I had full P.E.T. Scan on shoulder last Friday and they are happy that it is not going to need pinning / stapling. Start my physio treatment tomorrow ( Thurs ) and then just se how things go and what they say about when/if I will be shooting again.

I have been told the following : My shoulder dislocated backwards but the shoulder break is on the front. I went head first into a steel bulkhead of a blackcab due to not wearing a seat belt, and the radiographer told me it was an unusual break as they are normally caused by either front or...

    Sporting grounds open on Saturdays

Mickley Hall is a great place to shoot but totally different from Hodnet, although some equally awkward targets and some at quite a distance. Doveridge would be about the same travelling from Preston If you can plan it properly Oakedge shots some Saturday mornings

    Browning 525

Personally I would look for a decent Second Hand one and shoot the gun for a while. I bought a S/H 425 and the gun does exactly what it is supposed to, the money I saved I spent on lessons at my local club and have since slowly watched my average rise. Not sure where you live, but try to find...

I have been shooting for nearly 2 year now and stock goes dull on a regular basis. I have been told that this is down to having beard / stubble. I was told to use BRIWAX on the stock and I now do about once a month and no issues anymore. Its about £8.00 for a tin that will last you a lifetime...

First bird lost, second bird pair killed!

Kill Kill.. As far as i know as long as both clays are broke before they hit the floor or trees then they are classed as pair dead.. doesnt matter how you break them as long as they break

Firing bottom barrel first? Is there any science behind it?

My gun is set with slightly more open choke in bottom barrel & 1st clay is normally the closest of the 2. One of the guys i shoot with is really a feathered friend shooter and he shoots top barrel first and says he doesnt notice any diffefence..
