Just work out your pre-shot routine and stick to it.

I found that as with everywhere I could hear people talking behind me and discovered that I was listening to what they were saying and assuming about me and how garbage I was.

I went an bought a set of electronic ear defenders and when set into cage push volume to zero..

It has definitely helped me and my scores have slowly started to rise..

 
You'll find the nerves fade with time and experience shooting competition. I used to feel a little apprehension shooting DTL majors, and there's nothing worse than DTL because a dropped point means you're out of it. It really is win or bust.

Get out there, shoot the big events and with time you'll find the nerves will settle.
