A good first day yesterday despite being hotter than hell. Only did a few drives but ended up with a dozen Pheasant 3 or 4 pigeons a jackdaw and a rabbit. Very strange to be sitting in the pub garden eating barbecue rabbit on the 1st of October/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif Saw plenty of birds around and even some of this years (we put ex layers down so are either wild or dragged in from the estate over the river) looking good for the rest of the season/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif not sure I like having to carry a bottle of water instead of the hip-flask but I'm sure normal service of wind, rain and cold will soon be resumed!Poor dogs were knackered last night and the Lab hasnt stopped sleeping all day today, just shows you can walk them as much as you like over the summer but its still not the same for keeping them in shape as working!
