B725 wood finish ?

I have a Browning B725 Black Edition which I believed had an oil finish but have just read that it is a "semi-oiled" finish.

anybody know what a semi-oiled finish is and what maintenance if any it requires ?

Does it say anything in the manual?

My Guerini is similar and they recommend a little boiled linseed oil rubbed in which I do occasionally.

I looked on the browning website and it says that your gun has an oiled finish. So most of the decent stock oils should be fine. Personally I've used CCL gunstock conditioning oil for decades. But there are others out there of course.
