Are there restrictions on the U4s then?

Yeah, he suggests not using steel through U4. Thing is, as with anything, there are people out there, who will try and bung 36g of steel BB through a U4...which clearly is a bad idea. 28g of 9's, I think I people in the USA do that quite often with Skeet.

So it is probably more Jim, covering his ass. Much like instructions for vacuum cleaners "DO NOT put your tinky-winky in this vacuum cleaner as it may cause discomfort or injury."

When I asked Jim the same question he said that it was safe to shoot up to size 6 steel though the U4
