There's a Polish chap who comes to our club during the summer, he shoots sporting, DTL and ABT with an old SxS and calls pull as he's closing the gun, never misses and very rarely needs 2nd barrel for trap, and he's such a happy unassuming sort of chap.

We often have a three shot flush at our club, just for fun.

Good advice Vic. I have a neighbour who moved into the idyllic countryside from a city a few years ago and he's become yer typical hobby farmer, a few sheep, dogs, geese, ducks, pony or two etc, all day long I get Baaaaaaaaaaaaa, woof woof, hissssssss hissssssss, quack quack and whatever noise...

All hell would have broken loose back in the 'good' old days on 'The Old Place'.com by now, semi autos and steel shot on the same thread. That iasgair would have been seething and spitting feathers.  :lol:   :lol:

Having read some of the replies on here I must make a point of using my semi for clays more often, just to wind the elite few up a bit.  :haha:   :thumbsu:   :lol:

I use both O/U and a semi though I mainly use the semi out in the field. When I do use the semi for clays I do my best to pick up spent carts as I go. When I score for the trap shooters at our club I just love it when one shooter is using a semi, gets the rest of them bitching a treat. ...

As we all well know a gun only becomes dangerous in the hands of a loonie, the bloke who caused this latest tragedy had a history of mental illness problems, his mother allowed the bozo to continue living with her and did nothing about his gun ownership.
