    Velocity + 8's

All they’re going to do is: 1. Do a “limited run” on 26g cartridges.  2. Tell everyone they were a success. And how brilliant they are. 3. Discontinue the velocity, and sell the 26g carts instead at the same price (saving themselves money on lead in the process!).  Watch this space.... 🤫

    New prototype Beretta?

That lock up design although similar to Perazzi, beretta already make one like this in their SO10 model.  Also, it’s a boss action originally, not Perazzi.

    Winter glove suggestions..

The old sealskins did use Velcro.  Its the new model they brought I about 2 years ago that now have magnets instead.  Shows how long I’ve been looking at getting a pair! Haha its just justifying the £50 for a pair of gloves! I would only use them for pigeon shooting.

    Winter glove suggestions..

Everyone I have asked this question to in the past always recommend Sealskins.  At £50 they ain’t cheap, but then what is in this world of shooting?! im thinking of investing in a pair for next winter.

    Double discharge DT10 query

Had this on my DT10 a couple of times.  Im left handed, and I “believe” it was due to me knocking the barrel selector switch when opening the gun. I changed to start shooting top barrel first, problem solved. No double discharge since.

    A Beginner's Dilemma

If you buy an ATA, be prepared to lose a shedload on it when you sell it on. £800ish new, be lucky to get £200 trade in... If you get a 2nd hand browning/beretta/miroku, at least you can sell it for the same price you bought it for if you don’t get o with it, or want to upgrade, etc.

    Dt10 left handed

I bought my near mint condition 32” left handed DT10 sporter with adjustable comb for £3400.  Late model and shoots like a dream! Nice wood, and solid as a rock! Loving it!

    Jocker again.............

The Trust cartridges seem really good actually. Smooth to shoot and cheap.

    Jocker again.............

I gave a bad report on these a year or so back   Probably a "bad batch", but myself and a group of friends had several fibre jocker cartridges that were dud and ended up with the wads stuck in our barrels.  It happened to me 3 times.  Like I say, may be a duff batch, but it's put me off...

    Extended chokes for game

I guess it's the same as people don't turn up to play a round of golf at a club in ripped jeans and a t shirt?! like others have said, it's "the done thing", tradition, and respectful too.

One eye, both eyes, does it matter?

Whatever you do, make sure you take "spinal drag" into account.... 3, possibly 4? ;-)

    fieldsports britain

I've had a few lessons with him.  I like the fact that he tells you how it is, no holds barred! Ive heard some people say they think he's arrogant and they don't like him, well so what?! At the end of the day, I'm paying him to teach me how to shoot better, not to have a heart to heart.  Fair...

    Length of barrels

I started shooting with a 30". Liked it.  Bought a 28" for game days. Felt like swinging a cocktail stick! Tried a 32", and loved how it steadied my swing and slowed me down.  Been shooting 32" ever since. For sporting and game.  Saying this, my semi auto is 30", but with the longer action...
