Accessibility seems to be a common thread, I am luck enough to live and work just 10 minutes from a ground with excellent skeet facilities. So maybe the CPSA committee looking at this should be asking ground owners what their views are on providing skeet facilities. Of course a lot of grounds...

I fundamentally disagree with the statement "Skeet shooters seem to have little tolerance for newbies", it goes with out saying that there are some who exhibit this attitude, but it is not, in my experience, the case with all skeet shooters. We often welcome new skeet shooters into our practice...

Personally I can't see how fiddling about with a minor adjustment is speed is supposed to attract new people. Wouldn't it be better to hold something like ESK taster or introduction sessions and to increase the publicity surrounding local ESK competitions such as county champioships
