I had a mk1 escort bought for 90 quid in 82 saw one a few months ago, how small are they

My first car was a mk 1.  Paid £35 for it, and welded the inner wing back on once a month religiously  :nyam:

Bikes wise, started with an RD350 (coffin tank), then old 400/4, onto XJ600, FZ750 then finally VFR750.

Unfortunately can't even sit on one these days without hips cramping up!

Oh, and bag wise Santa brought me the Browning one (like Wonkos somewhere near the start of this thread)

Had a fair few bikes in my youth, anyone remember the Suzuki 185 gt. Also had a Suzuki x7 250 which was then the fastest 250 on the road. Went from that to a yamy 350 yvps ,and then kwacker kh400 my all time fave though was my 50cc yamy fs1e

As for range bags I use a Brady Ariel ( canvas and leather ) I find it excellent, plenty of room , and had mine for 10 years

Just got a Browiing bag. Holds a slab of carts with room on top for ears and eyes and enough pockets for various other bits and bobs.

Wow some really old ones them were the days I had a rgv 250 with a rg 500 two stroke wedged into the frame it was like riding a bucking bronco

I was overtaking a line of cars one day on the back wheel ( hard not to) when there was a blue light in the mirror I pulled over the officer said MORNING WING COMMANDER having trouble taking off .
