I switched from beer to vodka to minimise the weight impact - but seriously the reduction of mouse and keyboard over two weeks has helped me - going to be looking to improve keyboards etc over the next few weeks...
get yourself a workstation Assessment. Also try using the mouse with opposite hand or alternate it.

I do exactly that to improve my left hand motor skills anyway...

Anyone who is paying £60 to see a Physio on a regular basis is getting taken for a ride.... A good Physio should diagnose, provide initial treatment and then show the patient how to self manage the condition. Patients should not been seen as cash cows.. And that is the truest story of all... (Sorry Nic, couldn't resist) ;-)
You want to try seeing a sports physio down here matey.......And apart from the joke.......some of us who only live to shoot....do not let any Tom , Dick, or Harry, start messing with skeletal structure or exercises that are great for others but not suitable for shooters when done in certain ways.

Trust me matey.......after shooting 36grms for over 25 years......I have worked out who the good physios are by now in each country that I shoot in .....as well as home....... I need them...when I need them.

And yes I know you can be referred to your local hospital

P.s. How much do you charge per hour? Fancy relocating ??

haha, I'm cheap at only £35 initially(45 mins) and £30 (30-45 mins) follow up... Might have to think about upping my rate now though...;-) but you lucky lot get my advice for free.... I'm happy to meet with people at shooting grounds but obviously if it is a distance, would have to charge fuel....
Joking aside, I'm a firm believer in Physio being kept simple. No need to over-complicate things.

That is very kind of you.....there used to be a Physio that came to major shoots.....with the chair with the oval in it. It was brill.

So...........you are......actually £60 an hour.....just saying..... L. O. L. ......so .......same as mine......after all

Well, sort of but not quite....I'm generous with my timings..and I don't add on unnecessary appointments. I reckon there is a niche market for a specialist shooting Physio....

General advice is free but if anyone wanted formal Assessment/treatment then I'd have to charge.... Gotta pay for my shooting somehow.. ;-)

NIck - if you were closer I'd definitely give you a go, er if you know what I mean?

Nick - quick question, are the elbow bands supposed to be worn all the time, or just when I'm shooting :) ?

I wear mine as much as possible.... but definitely while shooting.

quick update! While having a minor op this afternoon the very kind GP asked how my TE was, I said it was no better so he cortisoned it, bit sore but hopefully will help.

it can take up to 12 months for the pain to go with TE......it's a long process but the injection can get rid of it quicker although you might find the elbow pain reappears in a few months as it's not a perm fix.... Eccentric exercises have been shown to help speed up the healing process and decrease the risk of the pain returning.
