Hi guys,

Bit of advice please. I recently bought a 12g Laurona O/U, 28 barrels, 3" magnum chambers.

Firstly, is Laurona a half decent well made gun and also does anybody know model this is?

Last, how much does everyone think this is worth?

Thanks in advance

I had one very similar as my first gun, this one looks somewhat earlier perhaps made in the 70's. They have chromed barrels which is highly unusual in their price segment and a very clever double trigger mechanism that will fire both barrels regardless of which one is pulled twice.

MIne was a multi choke which I used for clays as well as pigeon for a good few years and it never put a foot wrong although thinking back the combs are much too low for modern tastes and being a light field gun it isn't going to be pleasant shooting 100 birders regularly. As a first gun I have always said they take some beating.

PS. the one in the pics is probably worth £150-£200.

I have no idea of price but I like the checkering, not seen it like that before. Very nice.
