Not long away now - 16th or 17th June, shoot either day! Westfield Shooting Ground.
This is going to be a great weekend of shooting, it would be great to see you there! I've a couple of people registered with me as 'looking for a team to join' so if you're short of a team member - let me know!
A couple of points have been raised over the past week or so whilst we've been around and about so thought it best to clarify for all:
1: YOU HAVE TO BOOK IN - PLEASE DON'T JUST ROCK UP UNANNOUNCED!!
You do have to book in with us that you're coming - you don't need to pay up front but you need to tell us which day you're planning to come and your team name!
2: THERE IS NO RULE ABOUT WHAT TYPE OF GUN YOU HAVE TO SHOOT THE REST OF THE SHOOT WITH!
You don't have to use a Browning to Shoot the shoot! Browning are sponsoring the prize fund with 4 x B725 shotguns and providing the .410 shotguns for the .410 stand (simply because most people don't have one!).
3: YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CPSA TO SHOOT!
But if you are members then to avoid the scenario of a 'ringer team' with 4 x AAA shots on the team cleaning up so to speak we have limited the teams to having a maximum of 2 x AA or AAA shots within it. Your team can consist of 4 x C class shots or whatever you like, YOU MAY JUST BE A GROUP OF GAME SHOOTERS THAT RARELY SHOOT CLAYS we just want everyone that does attend to feel they've a fair chance of winning for a change!
4: YOU DON'T NEED TO DRESS IN FULL COUNTRY ATTIRE
We have asked for Country Attire as a guide to dress code only. We want it to be a fun event, just dress as you would for a registered event but please, no camo gear!
5: THE SHELLS FOR THE .410 FLUSH ARE INCLUDED IN THE ENTRY FEE
The shells for the rest of the shoot are not included. Max load 28gm, plastic or fibre wad cartridges
The ground itself looks absolutely stunning, the brand new grouse butts look like they've been there for years, the targets Steve has planned are phenomenal. With each team shooting 750 clays there will be plenty to keep you entertained.
Bacon rolls on arrival, tea and coffee throughout the day included and a hog roast from 2pm onwards.
£360 per four man team (£90 per person). Pay by card or cash
Browning Guns and Mitsubishi will both be there - we hope you will too!
To book in either call/text us on 07986 781312 or email [email protected]
