With a ground installation costing around £10 k it's hardly likely for prices go down. They have to get a return on investment. So because of peoples dishonesty the price for everyone is permanently escalated. ( Is one way of looking at it )first suggestion is to shoot what is thrown, without sighters on a claymatesystem.,, more fun, sharpens your eyes, and reactions!
second,, if the average cost of a clay is 30p+ at a ground, which allows for "shrinkage" due to seeing a pair,or `give that one again`,,, we can expect to see
`A` the price of a round to drop by 40%,, or
`B` profits go up in the same way to provide a better service and better shoot ,?
a combination would work,,, surely better to get 100 shooters paying £20/25 a hundred than 50 paying £34/42 . then we can all afford to shoot every week.just need the honesty to shine through..
