Choke cleaning... Meths or white spirit??

A number of my guns have not had the chokes out for over 40 years .

I couldn't find a 'little devil' emoji.

But there will never be a 'one size fits all ' answer for shotgun cleaning . I clean my gun and chokes every day that I use it , many friends never clean their guns and suffer no consequences .

I clean my gun more often when I have had a good day (sometimes I have to wait a long time,) I lay it on my bench and spend some quality time with it, dismantling the ejectors and chokes, brushing off the dirt and cleaning the barrels, lubing and re-assembling. It's a labour of love.
