Has anyone done this? I am looking at getting one but need to add nearly 3" in length to the stock and also want to achieve a parallel comb. Can i just buy the extra high comb piece and trim it to suit?

Does anyone have a spare Browning Beavertail forend that will fit a browning 525 GP sporter that they would be willing to sell me? I currently have a schnabel forend but i tried a gun with a beavertail and found that it suited my large hands much better and it felt more comfortable.
