Another very warm day.

Well this shoot will probably prove to look about right scores wise (maybe slightly easy). In my book it featured 7 fairly straightforward stands, 2 tricky ones (stands 1 and 6) and one pig, stand 9; which was the dark rabbit again, in a different place going all over the shop on an unreliable bank. The report bird was the skeet low house, but shot from 40 yards and higher up. I dropped 6 on this stand, hitting just one bunny.

Stand 1 was the sim opposing loopers, which was very good I thought. Managed to miss one of each and got one pair with 1 cartridge.

Stand 6 was in the small multisport. Tricky quartering black clay (hard to see and subtle angle) with a report dropping orange r-l incomer which was nasty. I was hitting them right at the bank and did get scored a loss which I felt was unfair..

As yesterday, I feel I have perhaps re-found my shooting style (to go with good vision from prescription glasses) so nice to bang in an 87, with just a couple of stupid misses.

If somebody can get through stand 9 well, there is a big score there..

Wish I could have made it down, sitting in the office looking out at the sun is no substitute...

Good summary! Managed to get through stand 9 with an 8, but missed 4 on stand 1. Finished on 86 and very happy!!!!

I did get there and enjoyed the course! Ended on 83 very pleased with that!

Stand 6 caught me out, got that dark quartering one but the second one was the problem for me! Blew the first one to a million bits then lost it! This was my card wrecker!

Stand 9 was pretty straight forward if you let the rabbit calm down near the hut and I just shot the report bird didn't put too much thought in to it, the first pair I didn't really see it go and had to fling the gun at it and succeeded!

I should have had a few more but let a few silly ones go, but that's easy to say after the event! .

Couldn't ask for a better Thursday afternoon!

I was told by a ref that 90 was but that was early on about 4pm!

That would be bettered by the end I am sure!

I did see Mr Childerhouse starting off as I left!

Alex Cobb hit the 90 early on. He missed 5 on stand 9 I think.
