All those beautiful paper cases. I can smell them now.................... :nyam:

Do we think cartridges have improve that much in the last 30 years in comparison to the price increases.Would love to know the figures (feet per second etc.) for all these old cartridges, bet you they haven't improve that much if at all.

40up will if he hasn't then nobody has.

B&P Olimpic in the brown case with the gold Olympic rings on them, fantastic shell, have some B&P Flash left in 24 and a few MB Superstar 36gm Pigeon shells, they were good, but at £225 a thou in 1990 they should have been, especially when Muntaz would only sell me a pallet, as he didnt want to stock them...

If you want nice paper shells, ladds are supposed to be importing Bornaghi..  they are so nice, especially when you stick an empty up each nostril on the walk from 5 to 1...

Quite a few shooters down here still use paper case cartridges think they are Carrega brand.

It was the machinery that produced the compression formed cases that wore out and was too expensive to replace, now the market was flooded with parallel tube cases from Europe
