Thanks to all for coming. Didn't get a chance to talk to you all (busy counting scorecards etc), but we appreciate your support. This is an annual event, so when I have a date for next year Bob can post it.

Glad you all enjoyed yourselves and didn't realise Matt missed two rats. Shocking Matt !!!

It was a fantastic day; Daren, the organising committee, Alex and his staff really did Tony's memory proud and raised a not insubstantial amount for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer charity which was Tony's nominated charity.

The day ran like clockwork, very very few no birds, lot's of easy looking targets that were not but nothing silly!!

Looking forward to next year!

Btw Darren, the 37 pence in the rat bucket was me, Missed 2 which I paid my £2 for but double barreled one on a pair. It was decided this was poor form and "fine avoidance" so I emptied the rest of my change in there :.: :.:

Go along wih that, it was fine avoidance! But there must be nothing more annoying than missing a target like that. I have only missed the rat once in my time and that was with full use of the gun which makes it bloody worse.

Vaporised the first two - but somehow started giving them leeed after that (despite being about 10 feet away) - its a clever stand, rabbits 2, 3, 4 need increasing, then decreasing, then increasing amounts of leeed which plays with your head.

BTW - I stuck 4 quid in for the two I missed... because I was so angry with myself!
