Its today mate been away since Fri with Mrs ips mini ips and her bf getting psyched up for it. Beautiful morning so bbq at the ready for lunch at the races and a bottle of some weird gold flake champagne that mini ips bought me

Ha......how the other half live!!!! Flippin champagne......and on a Monday too!!!!! Some of us poor buggers have to go to work on a Monday......we can't afford to swan around at the bloody races knocking back gallons of champagne!!!  Typical rich northern lads, money no object, put a few thousand quid on a rank outsider, I met your sort before mate!  Don't forget I live in the land of the poor old Tollpudle Martyrs, it's people like you rich northern boys that had the poor sods transported to Australia. Us poor lot down here can't afford to re sole our cloggs or darn the holes in our smocks, the only racing we get down this way is when we run to get the scraps of food thrown away by them rich holidaymakers, we have to make sure we get there before those bloody seagulls do!!!! :nyam:

Slightly off topic from a thread that it seems does not have a topic (but thought i would hide it away in here away from 'och eye the nooo's' prying eyes..).

Who is going to ABT 2 dayer at NCSC next week? I am going and taking one of my tiches to it...selection shoot i think....but not much else on for pulling the trigger...

IPS....Les....will you be gracing the venue with your presence?

was a great day with my two girls and mini ips boyfriend. Very sunny and hot day great race course. Had bbq and weird gold flake champagne everyone won or broke even apart from me i didn't win anything in 7 races but lost less than a days shoot so cheap day really

Is it enter on the day? I was thinking of shooting the OT at Beverley CTC instead despite NCSC being 15 mins from my house. It's always baffled me why we have to shoot ABT out of an OT range !

Jay mate don't get us started. There is very little proper abt now its mainly ball trench and this i believe is the main reason for how difficult it is now, the angles are too extreme for a trench as the exit is so wide of the mark. Peripheral vision needs to be that of helice.

Ian....now look...having a mid life crisis is serious stuff me old mate ! Its not about turning into a bloody boy scout, its all about messing about with a younger woman, buying a Harley or a fast car, starting to wear jeans and leather jackets, starting to play a guitar or drums again. Its about ceasing to be the responsible person in the family!!! I didn't have a mid life crisis....I just stayed as I was!!! Pmsl!!!
