You could just use the CPSA website, they list nearly every club in the country even some that do not have any reg or practice facilities

You could but for me I prefer the map view (which they don't have) so i can see what around me. Another reason that I created this was to use it on my mobile while on the go and see what's around me (grounds and shops).

or CPSD.co.uk
Hi Nimbusgb,

I did not know about this site! and they do have a map view, much more comprehensive than my list. I guess the only benefit of my list is having the shops on it.

EDIT: I did a quick search and I noticed some grounds are missing (e.g. Redbournbury and the Oxford Cun Company are not there). I don't claim that my list is complete but what i try to do is add grounds/shops that I come across here and over in pigeon shooting forums.

"Clay Pigeon Club

The club shoots on the first Sunday of each month starting at 1000 hrs and every Wednesday evening from 1700 hrs during the summer months (April to September).

The location of the shoot is to the rear of the assault course/30m range area of the top training ground at Gibraltar Barracks in Minley. Prices on application include 50 cartridges, clays and club guns. Spouses, partners, and children are welcome. For further details contact WO1 Dunfod"

Good work, you are really putting in some effort!

I noted one omission from my list, which was Gunsite sporting clays south of Avebury in Wiltshire, it’s a fairly major registered shoot,

Hope you don’t mind about this, it’s a chance to correct an error from the Clay and Country Sports website, see below.

Horne CPC (Court Farm) is shown correctly on your map.

I don’t think there is anything at the Clay and country sports UK location shown on your map, this is assumed to be an error and can be removed.

Horne CPC (Gatton Bottom) should be shown adjacent to the motorway where circled below

Thanks, added on the map plus link and info from the webpage

It is good to have more Gun shops. its easy to find clay grounds & schools but i need the 'collective knowledge' for suggestions on good shops.

Hi Martin,

Regarding the name of: The Clay & Country Sports UK it was meant to be the Horne CPC (Gatton Bottom). Changed the location and name.
