Its easy to be negative and seemingly miserable, at least thats what it looks like on the other topic, so why don't we try and find some likes and some more positive aspects to this sport we all enjoy?

Likes? How about the look on a novices face when he breaks his first clay?
Well, there's the friends...

Liz,

don't know how you've got the bare faced cheek...............................................to call Ed Solomons normal   :haha:   :haha:

ps - well done on the Great Wall quali!

new pet like....... 29 shooters at my straw baler on Sunday.  unfortunately not even enough time for me to miss a few clays but at this rate my next new trap will be just around the corner...... :)

THE STRATSTONE ULTIMATE ONE CHALLENGE.........but I am pants at it.

What makes me happy is the sound of the first crow hitting the ground on a cold morning.

Opening and closing the action on either of my guns.

That solid clunk as they shut is a addictive! After I clean mine, I have found myself opening and closing them about 5-10 times before I put them back in the safe because I enjoy it that much! Haha!

I know, I'm wierd!

Ooh, and the smell off legia spray, and cartridge smoke, and linseed oil....

Not weird Simon with you on that
You know I just recently purchased a lovely example of the original 1979 beretta s680, which I'm using on the pheasants this season, and one of the main reasons I wanted a beretta 68 series, is because the action feels nice to open and close!

Really liking the gun as a whole actually. They really knew how to make a gun back then! ;-)

Man to my own heart Simon original 680 series outstanding. Jealous ips here.

You are a man of discerning taste.
