As far as I believe last years 200 target was to try and encourage more folk to participate in the selection process. Not many more did so that and the fact that a handfull of international shooters who are used to 125 didnt want 200 they scrapped the idea and reverted back to 125. (That is how I understand it but am happy to be educated if it is not).

Now it seems to me that as last years HI was in Ireland then not many could be bothered so wouldnt have shot it anyway therefore it was not a good year to use as an example as to if more would shoot it if it was 200.

Lets face it for those of us that generally shoot 100 comps its a chuffing long way just for 3 then 2 lines so no wonder not many turn up unless its on there doorstep.

So question to OT shooters is ...... 125 in accordance with ISSF or 200 in accordance with all that makes sence ???

The more the merrier for me...at SW2000 i went in the men's so that i was not stuck with just 75

Dont blame you nic. Women get even worse of a deal with a poxy 75 i wonder who decided that women could only manage 75 as lady dtl shooters seem to manage the many targets at the Kreighof ok ?

I know...it is madness....I shoot 6 rounds in practise.

Fancy that, and you just a feeble women :)

Why do you think that the issf have not entered the 21st century yet and embraced equality.

200 for me. 125 over 2.5 days for £81 is sport suicide.

125 for me, 2 days for the mental side. Just red the Jessica Rossi interview [iSSF Journal].  8-10 hours a day training March to October. When she backs off before competition it's only morning or afternoon.

i bet she's a mega night out.....

My old back has a job to do 100 per day twice a week goodness knows how anyone does the amount of targets reported. Spose they are considerably younger than i and presumably dont have broken body parts :)

So far only our resident ot guru Mr 40up is holding hand aloft for 125

consensus thus far is in favour of 200. So we need someone to sort it now as you know i aint political minded but i know a certain lady that is so hands up those in favour of our 1st forum ot rep :)

125 for me. Nice early finishes, time to relax, socialise, and enjoy the weekend as well as shoot. Much prefer it to 200's. Home at a decent time on sunday too. Winner.

125 targets but shot on one day only. The two day affair is massively expensive (specially when paying for two) and very time consuming (see you tomorrow love). If they have too many entries to fit in one day make it a two day process where the shooters select which day they want to shoot.

Oh and while we at changing the world, ladies should also shoot 125 targets for selection and comp.

Simplies

125 in one day, i might be up for that as you say Poss saves on an extra night.

The welsh selections run that way and they are far better for those with family commitments and reduces costs.

125 in a day too much battering for me! Would need to revert back to the old finals system if went 1 day, or the shoots would have to be floodlit!

There's a difference between OT, UT and ABT.

OT is 125 with funny finals.

It sometimes knocks the stuffing out of you but there's the challenge  :banghead:

Hahaha you 'have' to be joking...!

After the crap spouted by Chard about everything in the garden of Cpsa and BICTSF is roses and that 'the bitching that is made to sound desperately important, but is just a load of wind and pomposity.......' And what was the other thing??? Oh yes.......'It will have next to no effect on you anyway...' and what else.....oh yes.....the people are......'whining duffers'......

Duck my cotton socks.....I could not possibly risk being mistaken for one of those.

No .....no...... I'm not interested in politics......I just want to shoot..... ....I am sure it will be alright in the end......they must have put experienced people in charge of the discipline  ..... We cannot moan about 'our lot'.....we just have to duck off ....pay our membership and shut the duck up.....because as we keep getting told......it has been done like this for 30 years
