i use a muller choke in the first barrel, cleaning it the other day it is starting to look a bit worse for wear after all the second barrels have been fired.

i presume the chokes are designed to stand up to being used in the first barrel only and so taking a bit of punishment ?

thanks

If you mean your using a short or flush choke in the second barrel it should just be carbon buildup on the outside. I would think it should just wipe off if the advertising hype about them is true. It should not damage them.

Apologies for the confusing post. Extended muller in first barrel fixed choke in second. I think mark is right it is just heavy carbon build up on the top of the choke. I will have to find some way of cleanin it up. Thanks a lot for the replies.
