my keeper mate rings me at 11-45 says he has crow all over his cover crop and would I mind having a bang at em. Me, er yep. Never one to turn down an offer . Finished my cheese and ham toastie and was on the estate by 12-30. Had a chat with keeper then parted ways and I tuck myself in the corner of a wood about twenty yards from edge of crop. Not much happened for half hour or so as by now they had mainly dispersed presumably having luncheoned well on maize shoots. It was very hot and midges were out so glad of my cammo net balaclava thing, yep ips does cammo. Had more misses than hits but no maize was eaten on my watch and a jolly time was had. Oh the SxS got an outing as well. Long sleeve cammo t shirt now on next day delivery from amazon as my fleece was way to hot. This is a pic of my position.
