Hello All

Been "lurking" on Tapatalk and thought it was about time to introduce myself!

I had an introductory clay lesson at Orston at the end of last year with a Miroku MK38 and loved it, at the time I had a lot on work-wise and with one thing and another I didn't progress it any further. It's something I would really like to get in to now before I find another excuse not to!

I live on the outskirts of Grantham, so have Orston, Nottingham and District, Cockett Farm, Grimsthorpe and Kegworth all pretty close to me for more lessons (recommendations welcome). Kegworth are participating in the "Give it a Shot" campaign, and at £60 for 50 clays it looks like a great deal and a starter for ten.

In time I'd like to get the family involved from an early age and give them interests other than playing on iPads and the internet.

Any advice welcomed.

Ian

Hi Ian,

Glad you got in contact :)

It is not an offer - that is what we charge all the time. We don't do lessons on a saturday as most of our instructors are being pulled from pillar to post so it is not fair on the person receiving the lesson. We do lessons Weds - Fri and Sunday afternoons.

We are open late nights on Weds and Thurs if you need to book it round work.

We have a number of different instructors so please tell us if you don't gel with your instructor (for whatever reason) and we will get you swapped to someone else immediately. Other than that we will keep you with the same person for continuity.

We have specialist trap, skeet and sporting instructors and we also have a network of top level coaches that we can refer you on to if you want to take it up a notch or 3!

When you phone to book - say that you would like to book a 1st full lesson and that you have already tried shooting. We don't take a deposit or anything like that so it is super easy - I will be here for another hour or so tonight if you want to call me or if you give us a bell tomorrow then any of my colleagues can help.

We will try and team you up with like minded shooters when you are ready to practice on your own - having a social shooting network is just as important as hitting the clays - every hit and miss needs to be re-lived in the clubhouse over a brew!!!

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

J :)

Hi

Just got around to calling, didn't leave a voicemail.

Sunday afternoon would be great, if there is availability...
