depends what you're shooting, I started out with 1/4&1/4, added a pair skeet for skeet, then added a pair 1/2s to my bag after doing some high crows at Oakedge, have a couple of 3/4s in my bag but very rarely use them. If I had to stick to only 2 chokes I'd go 1/4 & 1/2
