How are normal shotgun barrels made? Do they start with a forged bar, then ream it out (with a special lathe or similar)? Would forged barrels be stronger than machined billet ones Re: grain structure?

I shot a box of RC 2 at some sporting targets recently, really nice to shoot. Very soft. (I think they were RC 2 anyway, I will check when I get home). Havent shot F-Blues or black. You will have to get a box of each and try for yourself Ian!

And regarding delays, I shot early on all 3 days (first wave on Sat & Sun), and shot almost straight through. Took about 2 - 2.5 hours on all 3 days.
