The SCTA new membership for Is on their website, time to join.

Keep an eye on the SCTA website, they have a new administrator and it will take a week or two to get everything in place. The new directors will be working hard in the back ground to get everything sorted... So it's worth the wait to join.

The only one that is open 6 days a week is North Ayrshire but its a good 2.5 to 3 hours.

Maybe the Italian manufactures tell the truth, I recently put some Black Gold through a chronograph and they showed 1296 fps muzzle or 395m/s.

Yip, I remember it but try over 20 years ago!! There used to be a big lad with glasses and hair like a Brillo pad that used to take the pictures, don't know where you would get some copies though:-(

It was a 35 year old Miroku 3000 built by Valmet in Finland and not a patch on the quality if the Japanese Miroku. Maybe someone can answer the question of why Miroku had gun built by Valmet when they could produce their own guns in Japan. Was it something do with the exchange rate at the time ?

Afternoon You must also take into account that there is a £4 levy on your entry in Scotland for the SCTA. I believe there is no levy in Englandshire is this correct?
