hi spr .. sorry been away for a while and just seen this …. I'm sure we could arrange something if u wanted to meet at dartford or west kent … let me know
express HV are decent carts too .. can get them in 21,24 or 28g and i find them soft on the shoulder … or as already mentioned comp x 21's which ever u can get local ;)
the company is good … have been using a tri-bore barrel for years and now some others are doing similar .. the quality of the stl was brilliant and so was the euro my friend had … its just not one of the 'in' brands thats all … u wouldn't go much wrong with a fabarm m8
dougie23 … could try an easy hit bead http://www.easyhit.c...CFRIjfAodlBo1NA if u are having probs … I've got left eye dominance , tried an easy hit but couldn't get on with it … found it too bright and off putting .. but are a lot cheaper and a fair few use them. Coaching as mentioned is better...
I have the moulded 'passive' type and being honest not as good as i expected .. great for sporting but as soon as ur under a covered trap stand then u notice it  .. i just can't get on with the normal ear muff type … maybe worth buying some electronic ones or complete block ones for trap
fabarm are well built and cheaper than other makes (more for ur money) … i had an STL VS and wish i hadn't sold it … but they do KICK ! … but would be well worth keeping it and having a recoil system fitted . a friend had the euro and loved it

if its an oiled finish then it will be a coat of linseed oil (buy the boiled stuff) … just a light coat … you find some who oil their stocks too much and wonder why it goes all sticky on a hot day's shooting … too much will seep back out when it gets hot . I wouldn't do anything until the wood...
