Is that the first time anybody has been DQ for overweight cartidges ? (understanding its hearsay at the moment regards DK) having watched them so many times getting cartidge samples taken its the first time ive heard of it ?

Thanks for all the advice, actually used alloy wheel cleaner on it and it came up really well. Better than the alloy wheels ! have to remember to clean it more in further. 

I use them all the time, great cartridge very smooth and consistent.

Thanks hamster I was thinking a blade of some sort. I will look into brake cleaner too. 

Hopefully somebody knows a quick fix for removing heavy carbon deposits that have built up on an extended choke. Whilst I've been diligent and regular cleaning the gun after each outing I haven't been as regular with the choke. Is there something I can dip it in to loosen it all off....? Thanks...

Apologies for the confusing post. Extended muller in first barrel fixed choke in second. I think mark is right it is just heavy carbon build up on the top of the choke. I will have to find some way of cleanin it up. Thanks a lot for the replies.

i use a muller choke in the first barrel, cleaning it the other day it is starting to look a bit worse for wear after all the second barrels have been fired. i presume the chokes are designed to stand up to being used in the first barrel only and so taking a bit of punishment ? thanks 

Thanks for all the advice, I Will do a bit of research and see what it's worth. Your right about advertising as many pictures as possible and give some colour whilst being honest about the condition.

How do you put a value a gun if you are thinking of selling it ? Is it a simple as following the trading sites to see what prices are being asked. There seems to be a clear idea of the value of guns from the forum members, is that long experience. I was asking as I have a citori high rib trap...

Bryan, drago skeet are great. Shot them at DT and OT as well as skeet. Nice long brass as well if or those of us that like the cartridge too look good ! Sure you'll like hem. Haven't tried UT 9 although i see a lot in the bins on the skeet layouts recently.

Just been watching the skeet men's final at the WCF AZE. I've never seen so many no birds !! Haven't watched the other events yet but it was amazing how many they had in the final. Not sure what caused it ? Traps, electronics ? Don't the ISSF have standards for equipment or is it more normal...
