Hi all. We are moving house very shortly and intend to take our gun safe and guns with us. We are moving to a whole new area. How do we go about registering our guns with a new constabulary and getting our certificates changed?        Thanks

Sorry but you are responsible for your own gun. Any establishment that lets any Tom Dick and Harry walk off with any ones gun is gubbage. If I am not shooting then my gun is in the slip and on my shoulder. 

Do a couple very similar,one an actual club,all legal and fully insured. Another is a nice informal shoot with a good layout,run by a CPSA registered coach. Neither are registered shoots but I think the term STRAW BALER does not apply to either of them.

Too true,Westley. I work three picking up on big commercial shoots and the last thing anyone wants is dogs running around the guns during a drive. I have two off the lead that are rock steady so can deal with runners during the drive but keep one on the lead and its very common to see other...

Going well mate,keep it up. We did field trial last Monday and picked up on a 450 bird day on Thursday. Season getting going nicely. Clays tomorrow but its not the same as working a spaniel. 

Nearly all my days game shooting come from me working my dogs throughout the season. One shoot doesnt pay me for picking up so they allow me to shoot 3 or 4 days a season as a thank you and its well worth it. As PP says get out beating and you will get to shoot beaters day for free. On a large...

Shot peppa pig on Monday,she was very lame and very ill. Shot her with half choke and 28 gram of number 6. 

Thanks guys but she really does find it hard even after having lessons. It is however better when the so called experts are held back from giving their free advice.

Game shooters assume sporting means replica game shooting. It does not. What bird flies straight at you and lands almost near your feet. Sporting targets are very difficult for newcomers. My wife finds it devastatingly hard and gives up. (yes I say wife,we got married last month)
